lucky or unlucky day

Lucky Or Unlucky Day
I lost my mobile phone on the bus,so I called the officer if they found it.The lucky thing is they have,but the unlucky thing is I must find the place without help.
But when I take a bus,I ask a lot of people how to get there.The luchy thing is I meet a man who knows how to get there,but the unluchy thing is he hasn't told me this bus has two kinds:local and express.I take the wrong bus,and I don't know where I go how can I come back.The lucky thing I meet some Japanese.They are very kind to tell me how can I come back.At the end,a nice American lady show me how can I back.
How can I say today is a lucky day or a unlucky day?
